ABOUT J. REnÉe

Jennifer Renée is a Black American woman with albinism and born legally blind. She got her start as an award winning visual artist at a young age and continued to have her work published, displayed on billboards, calendars, greeting cards and children’s book illustrations. Her passion for art transformed into a passion for makeup. She began to take makeup seriouisly in 2010 as a certified professional makeup artist, beauty brand ambassador and influencer which lead her to make her home in NYC. In 2020, she launched her viral beauty brand Ivoree Beauty receiving global press in major publications such as Teen Vogue, Popsugar Beauty, The Shade Room, Yahoo!, Health Magazine, ELLE Portugal and more. Along with art, she studied music and performing arts. She loved to perform in choirs, musicals and excelled as a freestyle competitive jumprope athlete on her school’s jumprope team. She continues to jump as a coach instructor to inspire others to have fun while staying active and fit. As a lifelong performer, she has been cast in various tv/film acting roles, voiceover and live events. She is also a recording artist and singer / songwriter and currently working on her debut solo project. Jennifer Renée is an advocate for albinism awareness, disability and inclusion within the arts and media.
